For this reason, the range of products at Workman stores and WORKMAN Plus stores is almost the same.
- Workman Colors and WORKMAN GIRL are stores that do not sell work clothes. They sell everyday clothes, winter wear, shoes, bags and more. In the official store search, these stores are listed as 「ショッピングセンター内店舗」 (stores inside shopping centers). Their opening hours follow the opening hours of the building they are in.
- WORKMAN GIRL stores are gradually changing to Workman Colors. In January 2025, the company announced that it would rename its WORKMAN GIRL stores to Workman Colors and renovate the stores one by one. At the end of September 2026, there were still 22 stores named WORKMAN GIRL. According to the official information, WORKMAN GIRL stores also sell products for men, in the same proportion as products for women.
The shoe store 「WORKMAN Shoes」
In 2022, Workman started a shoe store called 「WORKMAN Shoes」. In the official store search checked on October 20, 2026, there are no stores with 「WORKMAN Shoes」 in their store name. The stores at Namba CITY in Osaka and Sunshine City ALPA in Ikebukuro, which used to be WORKMAN Shoes, are now listed in the store search under the store name 「Workman Colors」. However, even where the store name has changed, some stores have a shoe section inside with a 「WORKMAN Shoes」 sign.

The Workman store photographed by the site operator is one of them. There was a 「WORKMAN Shoes」 sign above the entrance to the shoe section, and shoes were lined up on the table at the entrance. At the back, a sign for the winter wear series 「XShelter」 can be seen. On the table at the front left, there was a 「Workman Colors」 catalog.
Which store to go to
- Almost all the stores in city centers that are easy for travelers to reach are Workman Colors and WORKMAN GIRL stores. None of the stores in the table in “Where to buy” in this article sell work clothes.
- If you want to buy work clothes or work supplies (such as safety shoes), go to a Workman or WORKMAN Plus store. According to the official store search, there are no stores selling work clothes in Chuo Ward, Chiyoda Ward, Minato Ward, Shinjuku Ward or Shibuya Ward in Tokyo.
- According to the official information, WORKMAN GIRL stores and stores inside shopping centers (regardless of the type of store) cannot order items that are not in the store from the warehouse for you.

What the sections look like
The following photos were taken by the site operator at Workman stores in the autumn of 2026. Not every store has the same products.
XShelter winter wear

XShelter is Workman's series of winter wear. According to Workman's description, a heat-insulating material developed by Workman is put inside the clothes. Above the section was a sign reading 「世界初!着る断熱材」 (World first! Wearable insulation). According to Workman's announcement, this 「世界初」 (world first) means that a research company surveyed 196 countries and found that, as of June 24, 2026, there was no other clothing made of a material that meets all the insulation and other conditions set by Workman.
On the sign above the section, eight XShelter jackets were lined up in order of the outdoor temperature they are meant to be worn in. The temperature guide for the jacket on the far left was 「0℃〜15℃」, and for the jacket on the far right, 「-30℃」.
Waterproof jackets and rainwear

In the store photographed, waterproof jackets were hanging on the rack with a 「防水」 (Waterproof) sign. The price tag above the red jacket on the left read 「¥7,800」.

MEDiHEAL recovery wear

MEDiHEAL is Workman's series of clothes to wear while resting. According to Workman's description, these are clothes for recovering from fatigue that have been notified as a 「一般医療機器」 (general medical device) in Japan. In the store photographed, many packaged tops and trousers were lined up. The faces of the people printed on the signs in the section are blurred.

The same section also had MEDiHEAL blankets and socks. The face of the person in the aisle at the back right of the photo is blurred.
